I have 27 chickens and a first time successful flock momma. I’ve had chickens before but they were rehomed as pullets as I had to move but this time I raised these day old chicks on human grade baby food, hearts of romaine lettuce, fresh veggies and fruit, bugs, probiotics 20% protein feed and 9 grain scratch. I mean they are SPOILED.
They just started laying eggs and I trade w them- an egg for a handful of grubs and mealworms. I’m in love with them and this forum!
