I put some small wedges in the bottoms of the walls to hold siding. Now cleaning the coop is way easy, nothing gets caught up in all the corners of the studs.
Thanks! So if they do happen to go into molt how long does that last and should I heat coop to make up for feather loss? I'm in Massachusetts, temps here around freezing at night
You guys have built some incredible coops! Nicer than most houses for sure! I'm trying to
Load up pictures of my coop, not sire if its working. I put pieces of siding inside so there were fewer corners to clean out. M[/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]
Thanks. They were doing great, getting 6 eggs a day. Then I fed them a pumpkin and didn't notice they were out of water. They all almost stopped laying completely. Now only getting 2 eggs a day. It's been 5 days this way. Hope I didn't break my little ladies.
I didnT know what to get so I got 2 light brahmas, 2 buff orpingtons, 2 golden laced wyandottes, and 2 cinnamon queens. A veritable pupu platter of poultry!
Thanks for helping. They were new chicks this spring, so they're not old. The only other things that I can think of are the weather and temperature. We had a pretty good rain/wind storm for a couple days so it was cold dark windy and noisy for a couple days. But again that was a few days ago...
