    When to relocate Sweet Roo

    We have a sweet roo about 4 months old, not crowing yet so we are loving him as long and we can. It seems my older hens are beginning to keep him from food when they are in the pen. His crown is dry & he scarfs down food as soon as he can. I make sure he has plenty while the older girls forage...

    My chicken is week and acting strange

    How is she? I'm sorry. Our RIR did that this summer. I thought it was dehydration or heat exhaustion and was too late. I would give her some sugar water in a beaker to test if she's drinking. Also has she been molting? Or lose any feathers abnormally lately?

    I'm sorry to hear about your little guy. My girls make my guy eat last, so I make sure he's has lots of feed when the others forage. I wonder if he's very malnourished, I would try the mash.❤️

    The tail feathers concern me, but neither have crowed once. They are three months old and the RIR was a friends incubator, the buffs came from Wilco.
