    R2elk, I doubt that this flashlight can provide 3000 lumen but I'll take your link into account. HEChicken, I tried to candle turkey eggs again and this attempt was successful. I'm going to order Cree XM-L2 headlight (for other purposes) - it must be enough for both quails and turkeys.

    Thanks for your reply but I couldn't candle quail eggs with such method (but it works great for hen eggs). I had 2 attempts to DIY egg candler for quails but failed both times. I've never incubated turkeys yet (still gathering eggs) but it seems that their eggs are darker than chicken but...

    Hi. I need an ovoscope for turkey eggs. I suppose that Brinsea OvaView High Intensity Candling Lamp will work but I am not 100% sure. Does anyone know what well known models of ovoscopes work well for turkey and quail eggs? I appreciate any help.
