16 week big, kind of crested bird! What kind is she?

This bird came from a local farm store. She’s pretty friendly and as big as my large marans. Any idea what she is?

Gender of these two? Maybe Easter Eggers?

    Update: both are cockerels

What kind of chickens are these two?

Thanks! You might be right. I feel like the guy who sold them to said they were colored egg layers! I’ll update when they lay!

What kind of chickens are these two?

Thanks!! I got them from a local feed store. They were in a mixed bin. I think they get their chicks from Hoovers hatchery.

What kind of chickens are these two?

Anyone have any idea what kind of chickens these are? They’re about 24 weeks and no one is laying yet.

Gender of these two? Maybe Easter Eggers?

Hello! These chicks are about 9-10 weeks old. I’m not sure what kind they are but I’m curious if anyone has ideas on gender. The two in question are the ones front and center (the calico looking one and the black/white/grey one). Thank you!

What to do with lone survivor pullet?

Thank you both for your replies. I would like to keep her, she’s a sweet girl. I’m going to keep an eye on things and hopefully soon she’ll integrate with the rest of the flock.

What to do with lone survivor pullet?

Yesterday, I had two grey foxes attack my chickens while they were loose. I had 4- 9 week old pullets, the foxes got two and the third is missing. One pullet survived. I also have 4- 3 year old hens. The hens have been picking on the lone pullet. She’s now hanging out by herself all the time...

Can anyone ID these full grown roosters?

Ohh gez I didn’t even notice the scaly legs. Thank you for saving me the grief of dealing with that!

Hello! I’m looking into getting a rooster and someone local has two to choose from. Any ideas on what these guys are? Thank you!

Some nights they go in, some nights they stay out

Ok thanks! I’ll give that a try.

Aw darn. I was having some feather picking issues when I didn’t have the extra roost in the run, so I’m concerned about removing them. I wonder if I were to remove just the higher level roost if that would help the situation.

The coop is 8x6ft with 6 foot high walls. There is only one 8 ft long roost. It’s about 3 ft from the the floor of the coop.
