I have always buried my chickens in the ground. And then I put a plant or a planter on top of it. But the hole has to be deep and wide and ground pressed in. I put mulch in the area but that was a personal desire. But yes it does help with the garden and gives a proper burial for your babies...

Last egg was about a year ago. Vet thought she had egg producing issue. She got really sick and vet put her on meds. She's gotten a whollleeeee lot better more lively. Her diet is mainly fiber and protein. So she'll or calcium items. Could that be why?
