I absolutely love my game camera! I have had the girls in the coop for 3 weeks now and this is the first sign of any varmint taking an interest in what is going on in the area. I haven't seen any signs of digging around the perimeter ( I've buried a foot or so of hardware cloth so I don't think...

Just an update even tho its only been a couple of days. They have done wonderfully. I left them free to venture into the pen when I'm around. They even know well enough to head back into the coop at just about dusk each night so far. Really didn't know that chickens were that smart.

So I moved my 6 Buff Orpingtons out of the garage and into their new hen house. As you can see from the picture (hopefully) it has an attached little run. Should I keep the girls inside the hen house for a little while (a week?) before letting them out into the run? Or is it ok to let them out...
