    Hello! Im not the thread starter but, I have quite a few silkies...the feathers your talking about are normal. they tend to fluff out more as they get older. I dont think yours look mixed, they look like silkies to me : ).

    Does anyone know of any places in PA that sells Indian Runner Ducks? I've been looking into getting ducks and would really love to get this breed to start out , I just don't know where to look! I'm also interested in a few other breeds..if anyone knows of any please let me know, thanks! : )

    I prefer alfalfa hay. I give mine a handful a day with their blue seal pellets.It works great for mine.
