Cinco pollos

I live in Albuquerque, NM where I have a small flock of five (hence my username): Buff Brahma (Buffy), Dark Brahma (Lilly), Speckled Sussex (Sparky) <-- those three are under 6 months old, Easter Egger (Bunny), and a Plymouth Rock (Burque). The last two are older and are great layers. Other animals (besides my husband): Box Turtle, Woodhouse Toad, 2 Parakeets, 2 dogs - the BEST dogs!
I am a retired HIV Epidemiologist and Clinical Researcher, currently working as a Mosaic Artist and Teacher: ( www.mirafloresmosaics.com ) I also make soap and herbal salves, have way too many plants: inside and out, volunteer for Wildlife Rescue and have walked across Spain 4 times.
