    lost feathers no return ! This sweet little hen seems to be the one everyone picks on ,if you can see, the rooster chose her every time ! The Rooster disappeared about 8 months ago and her feathers have not come back ,, she also decided she wanted to be a mommy so I guess she plucked some...

    No we do not know where he came from he showed up one day just outside of our yard and slowly Day by day got closer and closer , he had two hens with him the first time we saw him but they have disappeared .

    I'm with you on good Roosters are hard to find .. we have , had three and the one we have now is the only nice one so far and I'm still keeping an eye on him hoping he stays nice. So far the stray has stayed away and runs from us .. but I guess that's because we kept trying to make him leave .

    I bought 4 sexlinke chicks and two bantams ,, but now it looks like I have 3 roosters and three hens the sexlinke were suppose to be hens ,, how do you tell roosters from hens ?? I know one is for sure a rooster but two more are growing the comb and crowing . ??
