Do chickens lay better if they make it to a certain weight? It seems like I get very little eggs from the birds I have and they also seem to be much smaller than my neighbors' birds even though we have some of the same breeds. What am I doing wrong?
Got it! I am in a much more populated area where the rats could go directly into my neighbors' yard and possibly be found by someone's dog or cat. Where you are sounds like a much lesser risk of that. You're right, a few less coyotes never hurt anything!
