I am just wondering if anybody else has a chicken whose eye looks "droopy" like this one... and if it effected them in anyway. this chicken looked fine as a chick, but as its maturing, its eye is getting droopier and droopier...
Any comments would be appreciated.
the run is infact made from 4 1x4x12's which we dug about 4 feet into the ground (it adds stability) the planks going across the top are 1x4x10's, but i find that the are severely warping due to rain and sun, so I addedtwo little posts in the middle of those to ensure they are not going to warp...
there is a screen door and a regular door on the front. the blue bin is where i'm keeping their food.
ventilation at the top.
there is a door that allows access to the run with a lock on it.
against the one wall is a hanging feeder, a waterer on blocks, and the roost.
5 nest boxes...
that seems like a pretty cool idea to me... but then again im new to this whole thing... i guess as long as the holes are small enough so the chiekns cant get their heads stuck! cool idea!
This may not seem funny to the rest of you... But i have 13 cherry egger chicks who are about 4 weeks old. They are in a wire dog cage with a heat lamp on them... And last night one of my chicks jumped up onto the feeder and stood as high as i could and was looking at how it could possibly...
