    The predator issue is mainly raccoons and there might be some hawks around but I havn't seen any. If I see any kind of predator issue I guess I have no choice but to make a run for them.     I am getting 25 egg layers in March and I have about 2.5 acres of pasture and about an acre of woods, and my question is it all right for them to free range without any fence or run? They will be cooped up at night but I would like them to have free roam during the day.
