My first eggs My girls and boys.... They welcome me home every time. Now, to figure out who is laying!

My chicks laid their first eggs today. Two beautiful brown eggs. Actually, I wasnt expecting the brown layers to start until September... my white layers were due any time now... Guess they all showed me!!!

When my friends and I built my chicken coop, they kept saying they were building the Club Med of chicken coops....and its stuck!!!

I feed and water my chickens every morning and evening. In the mornings, they get out when I get in to water them....they wander my yard...which has been fine during the summer. But...as fall moves in, and school starts, I wont be able to keep checking on them during the day. In fact, it will...

My My friends needed something physical to do with their kids, and had to get rid of a trampoline...and I found directions on here to make a chicken coop from a trampoline...and it worked. My guys seem to love it!!!!
