- It's my husband's fault. One Christmas, he gave me the cutest little chicken coop. It looked like a doll house. I ordered and got six one-day-old Polish chicks in the mail and fell in love. They are the funniest, sweetest, smartest girls ever. We are both hooked on chickens.
