Any tips on getting the girls to drink from their new horizontal nipples? I took away their fountain when I replaced it with the 5-gallon nipple drinker but now they just aren’t drinking. Any help would be appreciated.** I watched some tutorials, but still no success.

Possibly an impacted crop. Have you attempted to clear it yet?

At what age can we introduce whole grain or seeds to chicks? I have a mixed flock of Golden Comets and Wyandottes that are all 6 weeks old and they have been outside free ranging for weeks as well as eating starter/grower crumble..

I’m in the same boat. Checked my HOA and found that you can have chickens. Got my coop and chicks only to later find out that there is a city ordinance against them within city limits. We are just on the border, can’t belive Gtown doesn’t allow them! Even Lexington allows them...sorry for late...
