It was same symptoms. They act fine then within 2 days can’t walk and find em like this. They stay in a coop so they’re not out getting into rat poison or anything.
Hen is 3 years old lost one about a month ago doing the same thing. Other birds in coop have same water, feed, living conditions with no issues. Hen is pretty emancipated breast bone really sticking out. Not sure what problem to treat or what to look for. Belly feels a little swollen didn’t feel...
What about the other hens in the pens with them they were all laying in that one spot so I’m sure since it’s prime real estate they’re gonna pick at her and try to move her. Where I was before I had all my separate pens and didn’t have this issue but I haven’t gotten other pens up yet before...
Awesome I really needed something else to do this weekend lol. And I knew that’s what you’d tell me but I was really hoping that’s not what you’d tell me.
I have 2 separate hens wanting to nest. There are 2 separate pens both have hens and toms in them. Not sure how to block off the area they’re using in each pen where they can come and go but others won’t peck and jump on them while they’re sitting.
The one in the picture was dead this morning I got her to drink up to 11 lastnight but she was pretty bad. My daughter’s pet is up this morning screaming at everybody like her usual self. They have 3 10 gallon waterers I added corid to all those incase the rest of them start showing signs of...
I think I found it .1 cc per pound I’m shooting em straight in the beak with water added in syringe. I usually wouldn’t freak to much but ones my little girls pet and I just spent 125.00 on a gallon of liquid corid that’s all they had.
This hen and another are a flock of 8 in a pen all eating and drinking same food and waterers. The other 6 are fine showing no issues they were all fine this morning when I left for work get home this evening this ones laying like this the other is droopy winged and puffed up but walking and...
Can you tell what variety this one may be last one of the bunch that’s definitely different. She’s a lot more red colored even though the pictures may look brown and dark brown.
everything I read said there’s no treatment. Some people said they gave tylan again mine all have it I’m just letting it run its course see what happens.
I have a Tom and hen from porters they were mixed breed chicks looks like they have some chocolate in them dunno what else they may be. White colored bird not in question.
My birds are a couple months old they all have it. They’re doing fine with it. I think there’s a wet and dry version. Wet version I read is fatal. The first one of mine that showed signs died all the rest seem to be doing ok for now.
