This little guy stands up and tries to crow! He came out of the Bantam bin...but he is the same size as most of the others. Do I just have to wait to see how big he gets or should I be able to tell a difference now? He is almost 5 weeks old.
Took my 4 week olds out for a field trip from the brooder today and they all payed down like this! Is this normal? First timer here! Also when will cockerel try to crow for the first time? My grey Banty stands up and makes a god awful sound...but they are only 4 weeks.
I couldn't get my babies to eat yogurt at all! So I knew they were too nosey to let something be on the wall of the box, so I smashed some crumbles in it and it was a free for all!! Everyone wanted some then! Pastey Butt be gone!! ;)
Had these chicks given to my girls after we lost one of our RIR chicks. They said they were from the Bantam tub. Can anyone give their opinion on the breed or sex of these chicks?!? Thank you!!
Hello all!
After growing up watching my Great Grandmother raise beautiful chickens...and years of telling my husband I need chickens, it is finally becoming a reality!!
We are currently building the perfect coop (or what we think is perfect for now)! We will be purchasing our chicks this week...
