    Hi, I'm new to Iowa. We just moved to Whittemore, about 20-30 mins from Algona and Armstrong. I still have to find out if I am even allowed to have chickens here but was wondering if anyone had advice on good breeds for this area. Thanks all!

    Nice, I'm using my momma's Dickie incubator. I still haven't decided on what kind I want, I think I am going to build one. I have 18 eggs total in the bator, 16 Australorp and 2 EE's. I cannot wait for them to hatch!
