    I got the same feeder, but the food doesn't go down by itself, not sure why, I even try to have it in a incline, and nothing.

    D yes, I got it from chicken from backyard, I hatched 3, ordered 6, got 7, plus 4 pullets that I got from a close by farm. More than I planned, lol.

    Early that evening or next morning, that way you can make sure you have the correct humidity and make adjustments if not.

    I helped a chick 3 days ago, she is doing fine, I am glad I did and didn't let her die. She was malpositioned.

    Still haven't decided what to do eith the base to avoid predators, didn't want a cement floor.

    I decided to build instead of buying as big coop are really expensive and with flimsy materials. My coop is 8x8 with a 18x8 run (including under the coop). I ordered 6 baby chicks, coming on April 20 and hatched 3 as a project with the kids. This is what we have so far.

    I hear some eggs hatching day 24, even 25. I have still a egg waiting to hatch, today is day 22, did candling/water candling with no results, I am discarding tomorrow
