    Update: 10 days made a big difference! The Dark Cornish is absolutely a rooster. He began crowing yesterday and his saddle feathers are coming in beautifully. The two barred chickens, are what I believe are California Gray hens. Their pointy tails are a dead giveaway.

    Sorry. My yard has a lot of treecover and these guys don't venture out from under the trees very often. I have tried getting them out but they are a tad stubborn.

    The bird in the top photo, I am just really thinking is a hen. The one in the bottom photo is the pointy tailed bird that I showed last week. Here is last week's photo again for comparison

    Well the dark Cornish hasn't crowed or grown any waddles, but it's definitely trying to mate with my older hens.
