Anyone feed their chickens asparagus beans AKA long beans?

We grow a lot of these. They’re not green beans although they’re green. Does anyone feed these to their chickens?

Too chilly with coop door open?

Newer versions of the coop have mesh vents in the eaves. I’ll have to modify somewhat. For now we do leave the coop open 24/7 though.

Too chilly with coop door open?

Basically just the one door to the ramp, maybe 6x8 inches. Random cracks which will be addressed later in the season.

Too chilly with coop door open?

They’re pullets, so not full grown. We were gifted them unexpectedly, so we didn’t do the early care. I would guess 7-8 weeks.

Too chilly with coop door open?

Pullet ingested an air soft bb

I was digging up grubs for my pullets, and the bold one who is always right there, grabbed an air soft bb and went right down the hatch before I could stop her. The bb’s are about 6mm and inert plastic. She doesn’t appear in any distress. Is this something that is likely to pass?
