I got her from a local store. Previous chicks from there have had no problems. She may have been pecked at while she was there. I keep their area very clean by cleaning it either daily or the very next day. She is very sweet and i hope it clears up soon, whatever it is. Thank you for your reply.
My birds get rashes on their underside often because they perch and sleep on a flat surface, they switch where they sleep in the coop often. It is not dangerous. It is just their skin getting a little irritated. If you wanted, you could put neosporin on it daily to help relieve some irritation.
Hold a paper towel on her comb! My roo had a spur ripped off and it wouldnt stop bleeding. You need to apply light pressure and hold for about an hour to make a blood clot to stop the bleeding. The comb did not need to be cut, please do not cut the rest off. They need their comb to circulate...
Some neosporin on his wounds will be a-ok! My rooster has had plenty of attacks from hawks and a little bit of neosporin and a daily check to make sure its healing right is the way to go.

Shes not even a year old and I constantly carry her so she is used to me! I give her treats also so she doesnt see me as a threat. She just started attacking me out of nowhere and now I have a gash on my face from her biting me. Why did she do that? Ive heard of aggressive chickens but this is...
My 7 month old miniature dark cornish hen is suddenly very freaked out. I dont know whats wrong with her. She keeps having spaz attacks and jumping and ducks like something is trying to attack her no matter what. She is twitching quite often as well. She just woke up this morning very scared and...
My bantam rooster, who is 7 years old keeps attacking my 6 month old chicks. One is a miniature (dark cornish bantam) as well and she tries to fight back with him, the other one (a rhode island red) just runs away.
Why does he keep attacking them? We normally dont let them around each other...
