That's very encouraging. The pullet in question is actually a bantam x barnevelder. I don't know the moms breed, probably a barnyard mix. Solid black with a crest. I'll try increasing her dose and see if that helps her more.
I saw this thread a few weeks after I discovered a 3 month pullet having trouble walking and balancing. It happened around a bad storm (late Aug) so I thought she was possibly injured but I saw no obvious injuries. She got worse and started to do a split, obviously still having trouble walking...
Unfortunately he's gone. A predator got him over the weekend. He was doing pretty well though. Starting to flap his wings more and walk without dragging his foot.
Similar situation last year in that i inherited a pig without having zero intention of ever getting one. I just get her pig feed at TSC and give her fruits/veggies on occasion. I do want to expand her enclosure and get her a buddy though
For about 2 weeks my pulled has been increasingly lame. One day she was fine and the next I see her basically stumbling around. We had a storm at this time so I thought maybe she got injured somehow during it. I see no obvious injuries and can manipulate her legs just fine. I brought her inside...

Thank you. The lower honk was the first one in the video on the left. The louder one was to the right with their head lowered. I can try to get something with each more isolated
I have a gosling in a sorta similar type situation. Was attacked by a dog about 2 weeks ago and since will barely open his beak and has his tongue sticking out. Can still eat/drink but it took some adjustments. Ive since put his food and water higher so they're more level with his head. He's...
Hello, I have some geese I need help sexing. I think they're male but they're my first geese so wanting more experienced opinions. Overall they sound the same to me. Sometimes the lower honks (like in the beginning of the video) and sometimes higher more animated. The white one (I think female)...
You're right, it's difficult to know how the healing will progress. I raised his water bowl and I think it's helping him drink better. One concern of mine is if he's not getting proper nutrition then how it could affect his recovery.
I think his little "teeth" may be irritating his tongue...
