I am an educator at a community college in a neighboring town. I've been there for nearly twenty years. Prior to that I was in the automotive repair business. A few years ago I met the woman of my dreams and we got married. It has been wonderful being myself and able to expand on endeavors from my younger days. While visioning the fall of our lives, retirement, ha! ha!, we look for ways to keep ourselves energized and self sufficient. We still look for challenges and endeavors that provide knowledge. Currently I am finishing a Masters degree and that will carry me to the next level. I look forward to learning and sharing, that is part of my philosophy.

I have a few backyard chickens myself. Looking at ideas on water management and general health. I have had chickens for years on and off.
