    they look like a Rhode Island Red mix and they are starting to crow. I hope the hens become good layers. I see they sell fake eggs to help them start laying. Do you think they help

    Don't know we have white ones and red with some whit feathers. Bought them at Tractor Supply

    we received 12 chickens the eek of Easter 7 females & 5 males. They are eating about 30 lbs. per week plus scratch. Are they being over feed?
