    I make a tea with red clovers (leaf and flower), then cool and strain. I put it in a small bike bottle with sport squirter and flush the eyes with that.

    Not mechanically inclined. I saw the compression traps but they are way too expensive. I know exactly where their holes are and their traffic pattern. I put a bunch of the concoction in their nest today with a funnel. I hope I wake up to dozen dead rats

    Oh Gosh, I sure hope you are right! I'm trying to kill rats with instant potatoes and was worried if the chickens got past my barriers. I know their crops can become quite large.

    10 week old pullets eating layer feed

    Mine aren't touching the oyster shells and the eggs are coming out too soft. My older girls are 17 weeks today, and the youngsters are 10 weeks.
