Mine are biting too, they are now 6 months old and have been biting us for 2 months. The behavior hasn't escalated, or changed. We handled them often, so the biting was a surprise. Typically, they bite the feet, legs, and hands, depending on what bare skin they can reach.
Are Rhode Island Red roosters usually aggressive? Mine will bite, given the chance. We raised them from day old chicks, they're 6 months old now. They don't usually try to hurt us, but I'm concerned that if I let them free range, they might chase any people they don't know.
