Edwards feed in Lebanon is great if you want to go that far. They have a wonderful chicken feed and will gladly show you everything they put in it. Price is roughly $17.00 for a 50 lb bag. Hope it helps!- Conder

Sorry I didn't mean to confuse. All the BOs are skittish but the one that is growing faster and had me thinking it was a rooster lets me hold it just a little bit longer than the rest. They only come up to me if I have feed or mealworms lol- Conder

It's not aggressive, they all act the same and run away when I first walk into the run. The buffs are especially skiddish because they are the newest in the flock. There is no challenging going on and I haven't seen any of my BOs peck any others. If its a rooster though I will send it to the...- Conder

Best age to free range
I have a flock of 12 with full coop and run privileges but my ultimate goal is free ranging. I want to come in from work in the afternoon and give them 2-3 hours of hunting time.
