    No Chickens in Charlotte, NC

    I know...they are so fun to get to know! We are just east of the city, experiencing owls and hawks stalking our little ones! We lost one of our original ladies to a hawk last fall, so we put in a covered extended run. Really has been a "lifesaver!"

    I was going to ask a similar question, I have a three-year-old sex link who's comb is red and floppy always, but it's starting to turn at the edges a dark red. Is That a problem?     Well, we're all set up, coup, extended run and adding 6 little ones to our "flocklet" of 2 three year olds! Enjoying Charlotte and would love to connect with others to learn the area and more on these fascinating birds!
