    I know bantams are much smaller. Are they likely to get picked on? Should they be kept separately or can they be mixed in to a flock of standards?

    My two hens seem to have a keen sense of sunrise and sunset times, but today I noticed that they marched into their coop a full hour before sunset. Then I learned from the evening news that my area is under a tornado watch. Do my girls sense bad weather coming? I've only had them a few weeks...

    The Red Star Thread

    Received two Red Stars pullets last week--my first chickens! Named them Eulalie and Jemima. They're great birds! Not laying yet, but hopefully any day now.
