    Thank you, Dan and Tony She was hatched last year. They are fed layer crumbles and scratch grains mixed. I got some pine limbs in the corner for her to nest in. Could the male be messing with her preventing her from starting a nest?

    Yes they are ringnecks.

    Yes it was a 10x10 dog pen, I put them in my chicken pen which is 25x25 and they like shed that is in there. She stays there scratching in the straw and the male wanders back and forth. I think the chicken pen will do alright.

    If you have a hen pheasant on wire, can she still nest or do you need to incubate them?

    The pheasant will come back if it has a hen. Then I set a box up and ran them into the box along the side of the pen when they came back. They came back between 1-4 days.

    Can you raise them on the ground in Florida? Could you put some clay, pine straw, etc. On the ground
