    I love my roo!

    Thanks to all of your comments. They are all very informative. Next step is the handling training. Hopefully offering more treats to the roo (hand fed?) will do the trick.

    If you love your chickens, fence them in

    I free range my flock for two hours a day only when I'm home and can watch them. It's best to fence them in if no one is around to enjoy them freely roaming the open space and scratch for bugs and treats.

    I'm glad she's back. I was thinking she went broody and have been laying eggs somewhere. It happens.
