    I’m updating this thread with a new video. I’m hoping Sadie Mae doesn’t have gender identity issues later in life. Do you think she is a “she?” Or is it still to early to voice-sex at this age? She is 7 weeks old now.

    Silkie Colors?

    Any guesses on what color/colors these Silkie babies will be?? They are 2 weeks 4 days - 3 weeks old, I believe. They came from Tractor Supply. (Baby #2 was feeling the most photogenic last night.)

    I was able to post a short clip on YouTube of the vet exam. Caution, if you have a weak stomach or super-sensitive feelings, you may not want to watch! The bird is being given a mild sedative in a mask to reduce the discomfort of the exam.
