Here are (supposedly) blue plymouth rock pullets at ~6 weeks -- got them from a local farm who bought a big sexed batch. They appear grey/black but there is a bluish tint when in the sunlight. Legs are definitely yellow with black coloration on the top.
More importantly what should I do with the bag? I see some folks just pour it out and let the birds go nuts. Even if the store will refund me I doubt they'll take it back or will just tell me to toss it in the dumpster.
Bad idea to pour it in the leaf compost?
I have these guys who are going to need new homes -- 12-13 wks, hatched at home, handled often. Unfortunately I'm a little far from you, about 3.5 hours, but if you're willing to meet in between (Scranton or Bham), maybe we can make it work.

We are a bit far (central NJ) and this is too late, but here is our guy. 12 weeks old, just crowed yesterday.
He will need a new home soon, if anyone else is looking!
Hello all! We are new to the game - we interacted with our neighbor's flock for a few years and finally decided to join the fun.
We hatched six eggs during the quarantine so our kids could learn about the process. We're at week 12 now - unfortunately have a couple crowers but I guess that's...
