Fish base is best, soy next and corn as a last resort.

Well actually I don't have a rooster! I wish I could but my neighbors are butts. They seem ok other than the bald spots. I thought they were molting. They have never molted yet. But I only see the feather loss on their heads.
My girls are about one year old. Mixed breeds. About a month ago I noticed one of the girls was getting bald patches on her head. Now they all seem to have areas on their head that are bald and or red. Could this be mites? Or maybe that are all picking on each other? I'm at a loss! Please, any...
Mom and 3 chicks raising 8 hens. I a subdivision and hating it! Most neighbors are ok but the meanies have called codes twice. Codes have been very nice but now I'm afraid they will make us give up our ladies! My 11 yo is very bonded to them and it would break his heart. Glad to find this site...
