They are much safer in a coop. When it gets dark out and they are left outside they will just lay there and could easily be stumbled upon by a predator.
The darker one is a kc. I have no idea about the yellow one, I'm sure someone will know. I've never had that breed. They are adorable no matter what :)
I'll second the blue Swedish vote. My khakis never looked like that as babies. The others look like rouens to me. I have mallards, khakis and rouens. They look very young I'd say a week or so old.
