    Thanks for the heads up. I usually keep the chickens in a fenced in area, and the turkeys out loose. Hopefully won't be an issue! Although I do like the idea of turken!

    I got 3 turkey poults this spring, 1 hen, 2 toms. They were straight run. Anyway, the hen died of blackhead, now I have just the 2 toms.     I have a BO who has a poopy fluff butt, so I trimmed it to open her vent. She seemed fine, but then I came home to this. It looks like an unformed egg, it was stringy and I had to pull it out and manually palpate some out. It's not a worm. Any thoughts/ideas? The rest of the flock is great. Thanks!
