Stay at home/work at home 2D/3D graphic artist, wife, and mom of 3 kids. My daughter Katlyn passed away at age 18 Sept 5th, 2014. My oldest son is 13 and autistic. My little one is 7 and smart as a whip. I have raised birds since I was 17, I am 43. I have 2 amazon parrots, a blue crowned conure, 3 backyard hens and quail!

I have 2 breeder pens of jumbo brown coturnix quail, 1 pen of California quail that are not yet breeding or separated out, and one mixed pen of Texas and odd brown colors, I mixed some brown and white last fall and got some browns with white flight feathers.

Currently hatching a mixed batch of new colors (new to me) I have NO CLUE what I will get and I am excited! Will be adding new pens for the new birds and breeding different colors this spring/summer. Breeding browns for meat/eggs and colors for fun!


I read - A LOT. Every night. I read a ton of psychological thrillers, dystopian “end of the world”, and thrillers/horror.

We keep a ton of supplies and are trying hard to be as self sufficient as possible which is quite hard with a normal size house and decent backyard, we keep a small garden and fruit trees, plus the quail/chickens. Will be adding more soon I hope. Need to rebuild the chicken coop and create new quail pens to expand!

It’s all a lot of work and a LOT of fun and VERY rewarding! But I am also quite busy homeschooling my autistic son and working on my graphic design/3D art.
