Pallet Coop Rough design... advise welcome.
Awesome thanks :) I plan to have a window on each door and a screen in the slanted roof section as well. If at all possible I’m going to try my hand at a double door that will have both hard door and screen door.- CowPattyAcres

Who does the daily chicken chores?
I can’t keep my toddler away from the chickens or the brooder. He is obsessed, but not much help with the chores... and cracks more eggs than he collects :) For the most part I do all the chicken chores (they were my idea after all) but the hubby does help, sometimes. Pullets or not?
This morning I noticed two of them developed more color seemingly overnight. I honestly thought it was blood but when I pulled them out for inspection I noticed it was more deep cinnamon coloring in their feathers :)- CowPattyAcres

Pullets or not?
After doing some research on my new 3-week old Golden Comets I am highly concerned that my pullets are not in fact pullets. Everything I’ve read says the males are white/yellow and the females are more cinnamon/red and easily identifiable... but I can’t find pictures for verification. Can...- CowPattyAcres
