    What a variety! All your silkies look wonderful! I first bought a 1month old pair from an Indian fellow who stayed near me, and then later another hen at 1 week of age... only to discover that the "pair" was infact 2 hens, and the baby hen was infact a rooster. None of these are show quality...

    I've had success removing eggs from the floor and placing them in the nest box/area. The next day (or when she needs to lay again) she will probably lay where you want her to. Hope it helps

    Mongoose havn't been a problem here for a long time. I think its the surplus of dogs keeping them from coming into town as they used to.
