    Some are very dark. Some of the yolks look like they aren’t developing at all. Still a ball. Some look sort of milky but it’s hard to tell bc they are black copper marans. I don’t see a blood ring.

    She has 14. Which is more than she should but my other hen quit being broody so she got the whole job. If I give them a shot in the incubator I wonder if the raised temp and humidity at the end of the first batch of eggs will harm the newer eggs.

    Has anyone had experience with chickens having xylitol? I have some oatmeal left over that was sweetened with Truvia. Will it hurt them to eat it?

    The black one is feather footed. hi all! I’m new to raising chicks. I’d love some insight into these few pictures. They are 12 weeks. If I could get breeds I could go research them a little better.
