Did you want to know the quality of them? I live about 35-40 minutes from them and am thinking about going there to get cochins and australorps if I can find anyone who has any for sale.
Sorry to hijack this thread but I am from S.E Indiana (an hour south of Indy) and am looking for someone who sells cochins , black copper marans or australorps.
I am in S.E Indiana. Do you have any or know of any breeders in S.E Indiana that may have any of these for sale? Thanks...

It seems like more use it than not. It was suggested that I use this as a lawn treatment for fleas and ticks. Has anyone used it for this? If so how did it work? If not then what else do you use? Anyone use nematodes? Do they work? I can't use both so I need to figure out which one to use.
Hi. I am in S.E Ind(Sunman) and I am looking for someone with show quality cochins. If you have any or know of someone who does, that might be willing to sell a few, please contact me.
Hi. I am in S.E Indiana, Dearborn Co., and would like to be added to the list too. Does anyone know of any breeders in this area who has cochins or australorps? Let me know if you do!
Does anyone else have any problems with fleas? I really need to treat my yard because of our dogs and rabbits to but don't want to put anything down that will harm the chickens when they free range. Any other suggestions? We need to treat about 1 1/2 acres.
That may work okay but we let our chickens roam all over so we really need something that we can use to treat our whole yard which is about 2 acres. I mainly want to concentrate on the one acre because of our dogs but since the chickens roam there too then I don't want to put anything down that...
There is a natural garden supply company in our area that carries them. They are only 20 mins from our house but we still have to order via mail. LOL Anyway if you don't mind doing mail order you can get some from Gardens Alive. http://www.gardensalive.com/Default.asp?bhcd2=1235071281.
Here's a...
I don't think guineas would be welcomed in our neighborhood. We live in a rural area but we do have neighbors on one side of us as well as two just across the street. They aren't very tolerant. We do have two peacocks and I am hoping they won't be as noisey as I've read about come spring. LOL

What a handsome little guy! I just started last year raising chickens and was contemplating adding cochins to the batch. After seeing your picture and hearing your comments on them, I am definately going to get some. Sorry to hear about your chickens. That's just awful! I'm glad to hear the...
Okay, I'm not really sure if this is the right place for this question but I can't find another forum to post it in. Every year we have a horrible problem with fleas. This year I am determined to beat them before they even get a chance to multiply. However since we have a flock of free ranging...
:)Thanks! I was reading somewhere where it would be okay to keep them in the refridgerator til you put them back on the nest. Is that correct? I don't have an incubator in case one of the hens wouldn't return to the nest. That raises another question. I have their nests in the cage where they...
I am new here and new to raising chickens. I was given 4 1 yr old hens and 1 rooster. The rooster is a partridge rock and the hens are sussex, buff orpington, americana and I can't remember the other off the top of my head. Anyway the poor girl's backs are featherless which I know is from the...
