    looks like I mught be givein up the back yard....................and going to 7 acers in Georgia on the Costal side Farm life here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have family that needs me to take over the organic farm and the pecans!!!!

    I have the nest box blocked in the coop,, my girls have no idea it is there yet because I didn't want them to end up sleepin in there lol!! they are almost 14 weeks now, when should I start opening up the nest box and puting straw in there? and using some dummy eggs??I would guess the dummy eggs...

    I just feel it was done bad!!and opened zero eyes to a heahthy egg option in fact squandered it by macking it seem only industry based?? just rubbed me wrong I guess I know where my eggs come from so I supose it shouldn't but Iam really trying to get more into urban chickens

    Save money just buy regular eggs they are the same as free range she said!! free range just means the get to go ouside she said!! less colesterol dose not mean 0 she said!!save your money and buy regular eggs they are the same!!!     do roosters normally dust bath at 6-7 weeks???or is that more of a pullet trait???and I will try to get pic's up soon to but really I'm thinking all hens till I hear a crowing LOL

    not so sure about grains and such......but with dog and cat foods they should nevever bee put directly into plastic!!!! Why U wonder do to the fatty acids the bond with in the plastics causing bacterias we cantse or clean so if you use plastic keep the food in the bag aswell!!! just learning...

    I don't understand why the average house dose not have at least 2 chickens instead of cities banning them they should make it a law that if you are able to care for a few chickens you should have to!! maybe it's just me I try to talk everone into geting chickens now!!how about that for a turn...
