    Orphington Roo

I have a 1 year old rooster I must re-home. He is a gorgeous Orphington with beautiful feathers, only problem is that I integrated him with my old chickens and he is a bit overwhelming for them. I love him and want him to go to a good home. I live in San Antonio Texas

    MY CHICKEN DISLIKES US

Ok, I am afraid she may be a boy.. Do you know if all cockerels have spurs? This one does not. She walks up straight alot, however, she is afraid of my other older hens, just not that one.

    MY CHICKEN DISLIKES US

Good morning, its the one pecking the ground. The dark colored one is the chick she climbs on. Now, i have another one of my older chicks pecking on the brown one! My chick does not have a spur so I think she is a chick not a cockerel. Could I be wrong?

    new chickens

So, my three year old chickens were attacked by two small but very aggressive dogs that dug under my neighbors fence line. They fatally hurt 5 of my eight chickens, and being a first time backyard chicken mom, I was so devastated. My chickens were so lonely and sad, I cried everyday. Last week...
