    Corn and Watermelon!! Once when we were having a cookout (which is always corn and watermelon galore!) one of my free range Jersey Giants hopped right up on the picnic table! My mom of course was mad but had to give her a watermelon because it was just too darn cute!

    I would definitely continue giving Fermenting feed. It may not seen like it but it is very important. When a chick is young it is easy to catch diseases and even a simple sickness. Without special food this can happen and they can die within a few days. After a week of being without a heat lamp...

    I actually have an in-ground feeder. My chicks are about 5 weeks old, but it is very warm in Maryland (Like 80 degrees) so I let them outside in their coop.
