As soon as I replied to this comment, he hatched he’s here so all my ducks have hacked house long. Should I wait for him to fluff up because it looks like he’s already half there which is crazy because he must’ve came out in the last 15 minutes
I have a small incubator that I can fit 12 eggs in I’ve had eight ducks hatch. My latest one struggled to hatch because of a little to no room and is very tired and the other seven are just trampling him. I have one egg left that’s gonna hatch and I’m worried the same thing I was gonna happen to...
The tip of his penis still sticks out a little bit but has gone in, he has this issue all the time. I think it’s just something I’m gonna have to look out for
My Drake has had problems with his penis before, but it was red and swollen, and wasn’t the corkscrew part and after he gets done mating, it’s usually out for about 30 minutes and will go in on its own. Now the corkscrew part is looks dried out and will not go back in. I have them in the bath...
Is there anything I can do for him at home I put the sugar on it as it says in the article to help swelling and he is now in a warm bath with peas it started to go back in until he popped and it popped back out he keeps wagging his tail and now is trying to bite at me with his tail feathers...
Wait so it’s his penis??? I’ve had chickens with pasty butt so I kinda assumed it was the same oh geez what do I do???? Putting him in the bath stresses him out more..
My drake has been pushing so I picked him up to see what’s going on I found this, pretty sure it’s a prolapsed butthole and I soaked him last night in a warm bath today it’s still out he’s eating and drinking but I can tell he keeps pushing it looks like what can I do????
I FOUND YOUR COMMENT, thank you so much for your care, I really appreciate it I’ve been stressed, so it’s okay to leave them in there tell morning then I will take them out? I’ll candle the other 3 tomorrow to see movement. Thank you again I appreciate your answer so much❤️
Thank you sorry, I’m new to the website so it’s hard for me to navigate🤣 did you perhaps answer how long should I keep the hatched ones in there to dry and fluff up I’m sorry if you already did😅
Four of my ducklings have hatched how long do I wait to take them out for them to be fully dried? Also, I have one egg that has the slightest crack in it. Would it be safe to take those for that have already hatched out there’s barely any room left in my incubator, it’s for 12 eggs. I’m worrying...
