    The hemp bedding I use really doesn't produce a lot of dust, but I've noticed some dust when they are molting. We live in Florida, the humidity is extreme here, so things don't tend to dry out enough to produce dust. If I'm shaking out new bedding I use a spray bottle and spray it down as I'm going.

    I was raised around "farm chickens" but this is my first experience with backyard "pet chickens" so I'm hoping to learn as much as possible here. We got our four easter eggers in March at 8 weeks old and they are all laying now. Their names are Lena, Matilda, Hildegard, and Clementine.

    In my laundry room, in a cat crate, every single time. If I don't open the door to let her in the house, she stands outside and screams and pecks at the door. Another one lays hers in the bag of unused bedding in the shed (I'm gonna need that soon, not sure how that's going to go over.)
