When we had the slab poured for our garage we ran sprinklers on it for a few days so that it didn't get too dry.

Enjoy your new babies. I would recommend cutting some cardboard and wrapping around the inside of the kennel. It will keep heat in as well as dirt! You should only need it to be a foot high or so.
