    Black copper maran mixed with….?

    I only knew that she was a maran mix but had no idea what she could be mixed with. When I was looking at her comb and stuff, it didn’t seem on par with black copper maran. So I wasn’t sure. Thanks for the response! After looking at more breeds, her features kind of remind me of an Americauna.

    Hi! So my girl (hopefully really a girl 😂) is almost 19 weeks old. We assumed she was a black copper maran mix from the egg she hatched from (dark brown) and the mama/papa owners thought so as well, but her small comb and lack of wattles is throwing me for a loop. So I’m so curious… Any ideas...

    Ok thanks! I agree but sometimes it’s hard to tell! This little guy pictured here was one of my other Cochins bantams when about the same age and it was def noticeable that he was a roo, so I thought I guessed right with my blue. Thanks again!
